Greetings from beautiful San Jose, Costa Rica! As an ecologist deeply connected to Central America's biodiversity, I seek accommodations that align with my values of sustainability and eco-consciousness. the Ocean View Lodge truly exceeded my expectations in every way. From the immaculately cleaned pool bar and surrounding areas to the stunning seafront location on Playa Negra, the lodge provided a serene setting for a romantic escape. the room with its fully equipped kitchenette and ocean view bathtub was a luxurious sanctuary. the staff, notably Hernie, added a local touch that made our stay feel personalized and memorable. The facilities, including the well-decorated backyard and easy access to downtown Cahuita and the National Park, showcased the lodge's commitment to guest comfort and convenience. I can't recommend this hidden gem highly enough - a true haven for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat.
